AKC Great Pyrenees Puppies

The Great Pyrenees can be trusted with small, young, and helpless animals of any kind. It usually takes a pup 18 months to become an effective livestock guardian dog. One of the most interesting qualities of a Great Pyrenees -- the absolute intolerance of all predators (including strange dogs, animals, and people), coupled with extraordinary patience and kindness to stock. This is a dog that can live on a farm, part pet and part guard dog. He takes care of the farm or ranch, the family, and the stock. Life spans of 12 or more years are not uncommon.

The new puppy that you are purchasing is guaranteed healthy and free of communicable diseases at the time the seller transfer the puppy from her control to you, the buyer's control or buyer's agent. Your new puppy is guaranteed for 48 hours against infectious diseases such as parvo, corona, or distemper. If the puppy, within 48 hours after the buyer takes possession, is found by a licensed veterinarian not to be in good health (internal, external parasites, and kennel cough excluded) you must notify the seller within 48 hours with a written statement from your licensed veterinarian. Failure to return written report within 24 hours of exam invalidates this contract. The seller then agrees to refund the purchase price upon return of the puppy (uninjured and unharmed) and registration papers signed back to the seller. A refund will be given only upon receipt of the report from a licensed veterinarian. THE SELLER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXPENSES INCURRED.

Your new puppy is guaranteed to be free from congenital defects making him/her unsuitable as a pet for 1 year from the date of birth. If your puppy is found to have life threatening congenital defects you must supply me within 7 days of diagnosis with your veterinarian's written report. I reserve the right to have the diagnosis verified by another veterinarian of my choice before exchange. The puppy would then be replaced with one of equal value and same sex as soon as available. An exchange will be given only upon receipt of the puppy (uninjured or unharmed) and the report from a licensed veterinarian. The seller is not responsible for any expenses incurred. Any shipping expenses for returning or sending the new puppy would be at the buyer's expense.

Your puppy has been on a de-worming and vaccination schedule when you receive it. It is very important that you provide this information to your veterinarian immediately. Worming and vaccinations, including yearly boosters, must continue on a regular basis or contract is void.

The buyer agrees to take good care of the puppy and provide adequate food, water, housing, and medical care. The buyer agrees to follow the breeder’s recommendations regarding feeding, exercise, and general care.

Remember, puppies are babies also! They need plenty of love, rest, fresh water, quality puppy food, a warm and dry place to sleep, and exercise.

All of my puppies are sold as pets. No guarantee is made as to disposition, conformation, breeding ability, or color change. My dogs are AKC registered and are sold with full registration.

I have given your puppy lots of love, care, and attention. He/she will need the same attention from you.
